I guess if you look at the work that goes into them and the quality your getting, one can see what creates the cost factor. This is a doll my wife has and will not part with so I will just show it to you. It is a Lee Middleton doll with the name of Cherish and my wife does. She was produced in 1997 and has a number on her neck and Lee Middleton signature, the production date and her name Cherish.
